Translating global strategy into a bold, culturally inspired annual report

Overview

WPP’s 2012 Annual Report was a 240-page corporate publication inspired by Indonesia’s fast-growing market and the vibrant artwork of Indonesian artist Erica Hestu Wahyuni. The design combined bold colour and texture with disciplined corporate reporting standards, balancing expressive visual storytelling with the transparency required of a global listed company.

My role

I played a central role in the layout and typesetting of the report, developing structured grid systems and typographic hierarchies to manage complex financial data, tables and narrative content across 240 pages. I meticulously built and styled tables, charts and footnotes, ensuring precision, consistency and print accuracy throughout. Working closely with production and proofing teams, I maintained quality control from concept through to final press-ready artwork.
